I asked for a quote on the net for Buildings and Contents Insurance. They promised £70 Cashback if they could not match my existing policy. They are more expensive. Have requested my £70....... but E mailes are returned as "undeliverable". What do I do next ? This must happen lots of times. Help please.

I need some way of estimatinn the replacement cost of my house. I'm in the NY area. I don't believe building costs are as high as $300 per square foot, even in NY

Who pays the deductible for house insurance when a vehicle hits it?

A vehicle hit our home causing extensive damage. the claim has been settled, however, one of the renovation companies , when they received their cheque from the adjusters, received their payment less the deductible. The renovation company has since been trying torecover the deductible from us. We have been trying to sort it out with the adjusters,(3 in the past year) with the understanding that the deductible should have been recovered from the party at fault. this is an ongoing dispute and now the company has gone to a collection agency, and we still believe we shouldn't be paying the deductible, which is a substantial amount since it wasn't even our fault to begin with. Who should be paying?

A person threw rock at my back window and it's roughly 6 foot by 3 foot. The rock shattered my entire window. The insurance will cover it, but how much will the rates go up?

Do you lock the doors between your main house and your conservatory and will it affect your home insurance?

we have had a latest mordern design conservatory installed with quality locks - much better ones than the very old door which was the final house exit before. if i take the door out to open the space up, will the house insurance be affected?

my mother just passed away and in her will it states that my brother gets the house and i get life insurance?

i have a leak from apipe which has damaged my downstairs neighbours. i have been told that i am liable for the damage. But is it true that they need to pay for the damage claim it through their own insurance who in turn recover monies from mine?
