Im with Nation Wide Ins. in Ky. Ive never made 1 claim and my Insurance is skyhigh Ive moved out of this house into my new house and it doubled for the house that is for sale ? Who has better or Lower Co. Ive got lots of things insu. thru them NOT 1 claim in 13 yrs. Its a brick home 1200 sq ft. 3 bed 2 bath w/basment Its NOT in a flood area.

Should my insurance, BlueCross/BlueShield pay for a dog bite injury which happened at someone elses house?

My son was bitten by a dog at our friend's house. My insurance, BC/BS, will not pay for the injury to be treated claiming that our friend's 'Homeowners" insurance should pay for it. However our friend's are renters and have NO insurance, and NO money. Am I going to have to pay for this myself out of pocket? I feel like my insuance company has abaondend me and my son. If my son was to get injured at my house (which has happened before) BC/BS would and has paid for it and not claimed that my homeowners insurance should pay for it. Any ideas on how to proceed? Suing our friends who have no money will only cost me money and result in getting zero from them.

What is the best house insurance to buy?

My son is legally blind and deaf. He receives SSI. He is allowed to own a residence but cannot receive a lump sum when i die, or his SSI will be taken away from him. I want an insurance policy that will pay off the mortgage when I die. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help:)

How to calculate area of the house for house insurance purpose?

I know they dont require the basement area.The area given in real estate listing is very different if you calculate on your own with the mathmatical formula= lenth * breath. If you can also tell me how realestate people calculate area of the house. They just give you the range and no body knows what is the exact area and what it covers.

Can anyone tell me if the medical portion of my auto insurance & house insurance is deductible on Sch A?

I have enough medical expenses to meet the 7.5% AGI figure on my Sch A. Since I'm able to deduct medical this year, I was wondering if I can deduct the medical portion on my car insurance and house insurance?

Would I be allowed to claim on my house insurance if my LCD TV has a 1cm thick pixel line from top to bottom?
