Do I need to put different insurance on the house beside my normal house insurance. Do I have to let the bank know I am renting it out since I have a loan out? Anything else you can think of thats important? Thank you!

Can I claim a broken toe off my own house insurance?

I was getting something out of the kitchen cupboard and knocked over a large cooking dish, it landed on my big toe and broke the toe. Can I claim off my own insurance? We have fully comp cover but i dunno ifhiscan be done? I was rushing to get plates out 4 tea oops! My aunt did this b4 have just realised she claimed off her business insurance cos it hapened in her own company.

life & house insurance on rented?

If you are moving into a rented property how does life insurance work as it usually goes against the cost of the home as it is paid off? Also, what about house insurance, would you just need contents insurance and take off building insurance as that is covered by the landlord isn't it?
