In The UK Only,Is There Such A Thing As A Search Engine For House/Contents/Life Insurance Firms Please?

ask: "In The UK Only,Is There Such A Thing As A Search Engine For House/Contents/Life Insurance Firms Please?"
Hello. These days, there are many search engines for all sorts of things.I'm having some difficulty finding a search engine into which I can enter details for house, contents and life insurance in one go and have it find me the best quote. This would save me having to do the same thing for many online insurance companies.Any help for UK only based search engines/websites would be gratefully appreciated.Thank you very much in advance and look forward to seeing your replies in due course.I am most obliged for your help.Alan L.

Is a tree house covered under insurance?

ask: "Is a tree house covered under insurance?"
We are thinking of creating a tree house to use as a office and need to know if it is covered under the home owner insurance or will new insurance and coverage be required. Bonus: Will property tax go up? @ Elizabeth - Thanks for spamming.

Is house insurance required when renting out a house?

ask: "Is house insurance required when renting out a house?"
My friends and I just rented a house in riverside, ca. Recently there was a break in and the window was broken, but the was was completely empty so nothing was lost. The landlord says we(the renters) must pay for window since the house is already in our possession, but it was before we actually moved our stuff in, so none of us really want to pay for it. I was wondering if it is California law to have house insurance on rented houses because insurance (might) cover for this? Any suggestions on what should be done?

Has anyone tried Globe Life Insurance? They're always sending brochures to the house in the mail?

ask: "Has anyone tried Globe Life Insurance? They're always sending brochures to the house in the mail?"
Well, they claim you can get insured for one dollar without taking a medical exam. I was just curious if there was a catch and if anyone had tried the company and if anyone had been paid satisfactorily when that time came for death benefits?
